FAQ & Order Information

About Screenprinting

  • Screen printing is a printing technique that involves using a mesh screen, ink, and a squeegee to transfer a stencilled design onto a surface.

Certain aspects of a print—such as design complexity, number of print layers or colors, monotype techniques, or canvas size—all are taken into consideration when pricing pieces.

  • An edition is the total number of prints created from the same screen design; a monotype is a one-of-a-kind print made from applying ink directly to the screen surface.

Some of my "editions" use monotype techniques, giving parts of the images unique coloration per print in that edition. The monotype editions I sell will have some slight color variation from the few shown in the listing's photograph, but will generally retain the same illustration design.

  • Typically, once an edition sells out, I will not have more created. So if you want something, get it before it's gone forever!
